Hello Lovelies....Hope life and the new year is treating you great!
Lets' talk beauty pie brushes...Already explained how beauty pie works in a previous post but here is a quick update...
Its a subscription based service. You pay a figure monthly or annually and in return you are given an allowance based on your subscription. You can utilise the allowance to make purchases on the website.
When you make a purchase the market value is deducted from your allowance and you are charged a member price.

Now onto the brushes:
From left to right: Cheek brush, foundation brush, blush brush and highlighting brush. I have a powder brush but no idea where it is. Will review that in another post.
The brushes are quite light in weigh and really like the colour of them. They are also labelled with the beauty pie name on one side and the use of the brush on the other.
They are all synthetic bristles that are very soft, does not prickle the skin.
Had these brushes for about 3 years and they never shed. They have held up really well in that time with frequent use.
Cheek brush - £35 full price with member price being £12. This brush is moderately densely packed. Used with powder blush, bronzer and even targeted setting powder.
This is not one that works well with cream blushes. picks up patchy so does not distribute all that well. Always have to clean up with a sponge afterwards, when used with creams.

Foundation brush - £40 full price and members pay £12. I love this brush. It a fine tool. It is very dense with a little give in the bristles.
Used this with liquids, creams, powder foundations and it works with all.
Easy to clean and remove pigment. Makes putting on your makeup easy. If you don't have a concealer brush, no problem, the shape of the brush allows you to use the tip and bring that close to the lower lash line.
Blush brush - £35 full price with £10 member price.
This is one I plan on adding to the declutter pile. The bristles are soft but loose. While no shedding even with numerous washes, this can only be used with powder blushes.
Not a fan of one trick pony brushes. You cannot use this for anything else.
Highlight brush - £35 full price and £10 member price. This brush is not worth it at either price. Decluttering. Its flimsy and while it can pick up and place powder highlight on your face, cannot blend it sufficient. Its' too flimsy. Cannot move cream highlight at all. Don't get this brush for any reason.

Concealer brush - £30 full price with £10 member price.
This brush is soft and very densely packed. Was not sure this was going to work but it does.
Can get as close to the eye with this one. Close to the lash line and eye does not water. Its' that soft and comfortable to use.
Had this one for about 2 years with numerous washes and it still holds like new. Pigment washes off it easily as well. Its well worth its price.

Have a travel brush set from Beauty pie. You do not need this set. The cheek brush and foundation brush is the same from above, just with shorter handles.
The Face brush is the same as the powder brush from the full size. I use this for bronzer and setting powder.
Does not lift the products underneath and gives a good diffused layer of setting powder or bronzer.
The two double ended eyeshadow brushes are a no! Will be decluttering them. These don't work. They don't blend eyeshadows well and the pencil brushes are too sharp. Not comfortable for the lash lines.
I would not recommend them. Consequently, I skipped out of the full size eye brushes.
When it comes to beauty pie tools, you can find some gems but do be careful not to pick up duds and reading reviews go a long way in achieving that.
Hope anyone looking at beauty pie brushes find this helpful. If you have questions, you can pop them in the comments and I will respond.
See you on the next post guys....
