Happy New Year everyone......Hope 2023 is treating you a lot better than 2022.

This is my 1st post actually being written in 2023, so lets make it beautiful.

I love Beautylish (beautylish.com)....Think they have exclusive rights to sale of Sonia G Fude products....Anyways, today is about brushes but not Fude.

We are talking about the Beautylish presents....the 420 brush set. The link to the brush is; https://www.beautylish.com/s/beautylish-presents-the-420-brush-collection.

Its' currently not available but they do restock the set fairly regularly.

I love the look of this brush set....Got them on a whim because of the pretty. They come in a lime green transparent zip up pouch which is reusable.

There are no labels on them for their uses but for a simple and quick look, this would set works great.

They are incredibly super soft and as soft as some of my Fude brushes (goat hair brushes). They bristles have a green hue and guess to match the weed theme on the handles. They just have a fun look about them.

The brushes did not shed at all at least to my notice. No prickling either.

The handles are solid and have a good weight. I assumed, these will be slipping from my hand given the look of the them during use, but nope did not happen.

I have nothing bad to say about these brushes. No negatives at all which is odd for me.

I have washed these brushes several times and no shedding or loss of shape. The brushes and bristles are still perfect.

Lets' explore more of their uses.

1) Powder brush - This is great powder brush. I use this set my face overall. Given the bundling, I use the tops for blending powder to my under eye as well. This also works for a diffused bronzer application.

2) The Contour brush - I was on holiday and this was the main brush set with me. I used the contour brush for liquid foundation and cream blush and this worked great. Blended both without any issues.

A point to note about this particular brush. Not exactly a negative, I used this with my Skin Enhancer from makeup by Mario as a foundation and while this blended well, given the product is very emollient, it clogged up my brush and had to wipe immediately after.

Following the wipe down, it was good to go with other products.

3) The smudge brush - The pencil brush. I used this to place and blend pigment to my lash lines. Both top and bottom. Also placing pigment to the outer ends of my lips is a great use for this brush. Picks up both shimmers and mattes pigments.

4) The packer brush - Given the flatness of this brush, I used it to place shimmers on my lid. It picks it up well and places exactly where I want it. I also used this to pick up cream pigments and place on the lid as well.

5) The blender brush - This blends all over lids, crease, under eye. Does exactly what it says. Blender. Both powders and cream pigments. It works with both.

I am pretty pleased with this set overall. If you are a simple makeup person, this will work for you irrespective of preference of creams or powders. If you love more detailed work, you will need additional tools and this may not be up to snuff.

For trips, holidays or even simple days, this works for me.... When they are re-stocked, will try to add an edit to the bottom of the post.

See you next post.
