Dossier

Hello All, its been hop, skip and a minute since my last post......

Today I am bringing you a review of Dossier to you. A little background......

We all love incredible perfumes. The scent, the packaging, the bottle...At times, its a whole vibe and experience to get one you love, one that can become your staple. Your ride or die.

Nothing about perfumes and its uses are new. Perfumes and scents go back to ancient Egyptians and China times. Used by everyday man and even for religious ceremonies presently.

I would love to delve into the history or perfumes/scents but that would be a whole blog post. If anyone want to read my view on this, let me know below and will post one up.

Not to divert from my main topic, my go to perfumes brands are Dior Privee line, Balenciaga and Chanel. I do tend to stick to those brands and as you can guess quite pricey. Hence the question, can you get very good perfumes at a cheaper cost? To b more exact, can we get the same/similar scents with their longevity at the a much cheaper price?

This is where Dossier comes in....They essentially make replicas of expensive perfumes/scents and sell cheaper. How is this possible? They cut out all brand ambassador endorsement fees, expensive packaging and pricey adverts.

The website addresss is Dossier.co. The website is pretty easy to use and cost can range from USD29 to USD69.

They given incredible details for each perfume. You can find what you are looking for by checking for perfumes under different scent family. They also let you know what perfume it replicates, what family it belongs to, what the main, top, middle and base notes are.

It comes in a standard package as shown, all perfumes bought from them looks exactly the same and all 50ml with the label clearly showing the details of the perfume.

The boxes also comes with the mini version. You are advised to utilise the mini and if you don't like it, you can return the box to them. They do have a very good returns policy.

They always have one form of promotion or the other, the more you buy the higher the discount you receive on your purchase.

I tried the Woody tobacco at USD39 which is a replica for the Maison Margiela's Replica Jazz Club.

I love the scent but this lasts about an hour the most on the skin. No matter how much I spray on, it disappears in about an hour.

I also tried the floral ylang ylang which is a replica for the Chanel's Gabrielle selling for USD29. This worked a lot better than the Woody Tobacco. Lasted about 4 hours on my skin.

This is a pretty great site and a way to test out the scents of premium perfumes/scents at fraction of the cost.

Will I stop buying premium perfumes and stick to Dossier? Absolutely not. This will work as a compliment for my other perfumes on days, I am not out and will probably use spend a lot less on perfumes from now on.

Anyways, that was what I wanted to talk about for today. Will you be checking out the Dossier site? Will you be picking up any? They have incredible deals going on for black friday sales.
