Another day, another empties blog post. it has been a while since my last one.
I have had so many empties....Some I got rid off as my empties basket was overflowing....
I will be able to show some in this post but will only provide reviews/feedback on those I have not reviewed in previous empties posts, or they stand out......(let me save you all some time......).
Here we go....
T44Z hair food. Used this for a few years. It very good for dry itchy scalp. Highly moisturising for scalp. It is also good for increasing your hair volume (seen evidence of this in my hair volume). Can attest! It is really good for scalp moisturising. Also good for tightly coiled hair.
Glossier cloud paint. This is one of my favourite blushes. This is amazingly flattering on deep skin tones. I love it. Works well on top of other make up products and does not lift your foundation. Easy to wear and blends easily. Have it in a few shades which I am working my way through. This is my go to blush. Even on no makeup days, for that flush of colour, glossier cloud paint works.
Summer Friday soft reset AHA exfoliating solution - this has lactic acid and glycolic acid and should polish and reduce fine lines, leaving behind younger looking skin.
I really loved this toner. Did exactly what it was supposed to. I used it at night, then layered my night-time skincare. This worked amazingly well. Brightened my skin to the extent that, I wore mainly skin tints when I was using this toner alongside my other skincare products.
Alpha-H liquid gold Toner - This has 5% glycolic acid and in my opinion quite basic. It does get rid of dullness and reduce fine lines. For a product that cost £39.99 for 100ml, I can buy similar from the ordinary at 240ml with 7% glycolic acid for less than £10. So it this worth it? Heck no!
Generation clay mask - this is an exfoliant mask with AHA. I used this about once a week to get rid of dull skin (you can all see a trend here, been battling dull tired skin. We all know, we are at that time of the year) as well as hyper-pigmentation. You apply a thin layer, wait for 10 mins then, mostly wipe away with a towel and wash the rest off. I do not let this dry down completely (I tried that once and was hell to get off and that is discounting the flaking). Bottom line is, this did nothing for my hyper-pigmentation and used 2 tubes. While I was able to get rid of the dullness, I can attribute that overall solution of my skincare routine that this was a part of. Highly unlikely I will re-buy.
The Lanolin creams - will bunch both together as they worked in a similar way. While this is highly moisturising, and works well as hand creams (with the excessive hand washing - thanks to COVID, I had good use for them), I would not use this as a body cream. Quite difficult to rub into skin and not that absorbent. You have to work harder with this. Not worth the price tag nor the effort.
Sol de Janeiro bum bum cream and the coco cabana cream - The bum bum cream is fantastic. The scent is just beautiful and the scent lingers on your skin for such a long time. This envelops you in lovely goodness. just wonderful. I ended up buying the large and super-size tubs.
The coco cabana - That is a different kettle of fish. This is just awful. The consistency is quite different from the bum bum cream. This feel sticky on initial application but dries down well. The scent is of cookies and cream. This is a no for me. Just no!
The Zara oriental perfume - This is slightly scented, coloured water. The scent lasts on your skin for about 2 mins or less. For about £20 for the big bottle, can I complain? the scent is just ok for the 2 minutes you can smell it on yourself. Save your £20 and buy something better.
The NYX matte setting spray - this is lightweight formula and does not ruin your makeup. It does reduce the shine if you have any. On it being matte, used better matte setting sprays. The price is great for what you are getting. Less than £10. This is well worth the value but nothing to write home about.
Beauty pie super healthy skin body wash - Really love this body wash. I was sceptical and thought it was a waste of money but no! Let me explain..... In the same time it took me to use half this bottle, measured it against me using Radox large bottles. Used 2 large bottles.
A little goes a long way. The bottle is non-slippery, dispenser works great, price is less than £10 for the bottle. It is highly moisturising and does not leave you with the irritating slippery skin. This is just perfect!
Beauty pie - super health skin body cream - My body gets slightly dry in about 4 hours after using this cream by itself. When I add either Biossance squalane oil or Bio oil, that makes it last all day.
However, why do I have to give it a helping hand to perform the task I bought it for? I am on the fence about it.

ootopia - Soft feet, soft feet here we come! Fast absorbing, foot softening cream. Smells like shea butter. No cracked heels here. Just beautiful feet. Recommended for night use. Heck no, I use this morning and night. Love the feel of my feet.
Superactive capsules essential ceramides - you are looking for dewy skin? Use this! You will not regret it. This is basically a moisture shot to your face. It is recommended you use 2 capsules per night for face, neck, décolletage and back of hands. I used one and yes, it was enough. Any more, it would have have gone into oily skin.
Volition snow mushroom water serum - Tested this out for hydration, improvement of overall appearance of skin and improvement of fine lines. Given why I used it, literally examined my face at the beginning and end. Used the whole bottle and noticed no difference at all for the duration I used it.
Milk makeup melatonin overnight lip mask - No competition. Used high end, drug store lip masks, nothing compares to this. Last a long time, non sticky and very comfortable to wear. I am on my 3rd tub and will definitely purchase again.
Beauty pie Plantastic apricot butter cleansing balm - this does exactly what it says on the tin. Melts away makeup. This also comes with the scooper and a cotton wipe. You have everything you need to cleanse your face.
This gets rid of literally everything without drying out your skin. Love it. My one qualm is to take off under eye makeup, this does sting my eyes at times.
For £17.39 for 100ml, It is a bargain and will last you for quite a long time. You don't need a lot.
Plantastic deep nourishing moisture balm - I love this balm. I use it everywhere I need it. You can even use this as a body cream. Highly moisturising without the oily residue. Very comfortable to wear and highly absorbent. My qualm with this is, it only comes in 50ml for £10.21 as a member of beauty pie. This is expensive for the quantity you get.
Farmacy deep sweep 2% BHA Toner - exfoliates and best of all, this is supposed to control oil on your face. Recommended for combination and oily skin. Hand raised! Where do I sign up?
Lightweight, very easy to use, does not sting and used this when I had a breakout. Worked wonders. Calmed my skin right down.
If you are acne prone, you should consider using this.
So....this turned into a review of sorts for products i wanted to highlight....Hope you were able to find something for yourself to try...
