Empties....

Writer's picture: OSOS

Hello all, another day, another empties blog post. I was not kidding when I said I had a lot....Trying not to bore you lot, so broke it down into a couple of posts rather than one long one and they are gathering up again by the day....

Phew....I do go through them all. In the same vein as my last empties post will review only those I think are worth your while, am sure my staples have been reviewed in earlier empties posts, please scroll down the blog to find earlier posts.....

Again, these are my opinions and observations on products based on my usage, skin type and frequency of usage.

So...Lets get into it....

Beauty pie soul providers bath and shower oil - If you are into aromatherapy, this should be right up your street. Supposed to melt away the stresses of the day, relax you and help promote better sleep.

The essential oils in this are Lavender, Lemon, Bitter Orange, Star Anise and Peppermint but the scent that comes through the strongest is Lavender and slight peppermint. If either of this is not for you, then you will not like this.

You can use this in either a bath or shower (guessing you will prefer a bath with it), i used in a shower mostly and it worked great. Cannot admit to it putting me to sleep but it did help with relaxing, so for me that is a win.

Would I buy again? Not even sure its' still available. Either way, you can check beauty pie site www.beautypie.com. They do tend to re-stock sold out items fairly consistently and provide an estimated date of when it will be back in stock.

Fresh soy face cleanser - earlier reviewed this cleanser and yes, I still HATE it. Used the last tube of my pack. As much as I disliked it, did not want to throw it out nor gift it. Really like the person who gifted it to me.

HUM daily cleanse - we all know the saying, clean your body inside and out! This was recommended to me as a vegan supplement to assist with clearing breakouts, assist with eliminating impurities from the body and helping with the body's natural detoxification.

Sigh....here is my review. You take 2 capsules a day. The capsules are quite large and has this herbal scent, so taking this is not the easiest. Constantly nauseous when taking this. After it goes down, you are fine. I usually have breakouts right before and through my monthly cycle and for the month I was on this, nothing! Literally glowing skin throughout. My skin looked better than using most serums. Also weirdly my monthly cycle pain was non-existent while I was on this.

Will I continue taking this? At this time, i have stopped. Need to do more research on the ingredients prior to taking it anymore. Did it work for me, yes, amazingly well. If you have acne prone skin, you should look into this. Seems like it will help.

Korres body butter - this works amazingly well and highly moisturising. Highly recommend for dry skin as well.

Earth's harbour celestine hydra plumping peptides serum - this should target dehydrated skin, loss of firmness and enlarged pores. This has one of the worst scents ever, literally no difference from using. Complete waste of time. Save your money.

Beautypie I like sun - Essentially Vitamin D3 and K2. Promotes immune support and bone health. With office work or even working from home, limited time to be out in the sun. This is helps to rectify what you miss out on.

However, the results are not what you can see and pin-point. However, this is part of my health supplement routine.

Beauty pie super retinol + vitamin c night renewal moisturiser - I really like this retinol treatment. Does exactly what it says on the tin. It very comfortable to wear, absorbs well, my skin is not tight after use (maybe because I layer a light moisturiser on top it), layers well with other serums and treatments, Actually reduces my very light wrinkles. After a few months of usage, you can see this. I would highly recommend this retinol treatment.

Sunday Riley A+ high dose retinoid serum - I have an issue with Sunday Riley products and they just don't work for me. Used up the whole bottle and this did nothing for me.

Kate Somerville daily foaming cleanser - this has got to be one of the worst cleanser I have ever used. Its a foaming cleanser that does not foam nor does it clean well. After cleansing, I tone using a cotton pad. The piss poor job this cleanser does is evident. Avoid.

Pai cleansing oil - this really works. No matter what makeup you have on, with this , its coming off and does not sting the eyes (critical)! Simply amazing.

Beauty pie - Bioomega 3 capsules - I seem to have switched my daily vitamins to beauty pie mostly. Please, this was not even a conscious decision. It just happened. I switched to this mostly because of the scent which is slight to non-existent. My previous brand used to stink of fish oil (gag). The downside to this is, the four capsules you have to take a day. Beauty pie - why can't this be just one? I remember as kids when we were forced to take the liquid via spoonful shove in your mouth. Gagging, just thinking about it.

Beauty pie Jeju daily am/pm daily moisturiser - This has got to be the best moisturiser ever! Best I have ever used and that is a fact! Its thick and solid in the pot. Scoop a little out with the scooper (yes, it comes with a scooper), rub in your palms and here comes the best, lightest, plumping, most moisturising, hydrating thing to ever grace your face, neck and chest. Oh my God! Just perfection. If I could use this all over, I would. Its non greasy and layers well on top of serums, treatments and well under oils, sunscreen, makeup. What more can you ask for? You face also glows if you decide to wear this alone! Willing to battle anyone who has anything bad to say about this moisturiser. Come at me! I beg you!

Super healthy skin anti-aging moisturiser - I guess I am not the target audience for this moisturiser so I ma not have received the full benefits. However, this is highly moisturising, not the most light-weight of cream but it layers well. In regards to the anti-aging, did not experience any difference.

Those are the products that were worth a mention. Thanks for getting to the end of my review.
