Hello Everyone, it has been a long while. Decided to take some time off and channel my energies into personal issues. However, I missed writing this blog.
Hope everyone enjoyed summer and was able to take a break? What did you do over summer?
Back strong and rearing to go.
Decided to start a new series about current favourites in different makeup product types since I have had such a change in my makeup collection within the last year due to empties and rotations.
Today, going to feature cream/stick foundations. My current products are:
Tom ford traceless foundation stick
Mented cosmetics foundation stick
Fenty beauty eaze drop stick blur and smooth tint stick
Ami cole skin enhancing lightweight foundation
Black radiance color perfect foundation stick.
My current favourites are:

Tom Ford traceless foundation stick. No.11 Dusk shade is a perfect colour match for skin/face. I love this foundation. This has very minimal transfer. I can touch my face when wearing this foundation once your set it.
It glides on. When I wear this, have primer, matte setting spray or hydrating setting spray depending on my skin condition before putting this on. I apply this all over my face, let it warm up before going in with a brush.
It is creamy, layers well under skincare and takes on other products on top of it well. This gives me, my skin but perfection look.
Something else I really like about this foundation is, its actually buildable. You can add the layers without looking cakey. For my areas with hyperpigmentation, add a few dabs and it just blends well.
Bottom line is this is just perfection. My one negative is the price. This cost a whooping USD90. Yep, you heard that right. This why I dont use this everyday. I would if I could.
My other favourite is the black radiance foundation. My shade is cocoa bean.

This picture shows swatches of both foundations. The Black radiance foundation coms across as more matte.
You need a more densely packed brush when using this foundation. It seems thicker and harder to move round your face but it does go on smoothly and feels effortless/light on.
I apply this exactly how I apply the Tom Ford but only with hydrating setting spray.
This layers well with other products. This costs about USD5 to USD9 depending on where you get it from.
Tom Ford comes with 15g of product while the Black Radiance comes with 7g of product.
I have worn both foundations multiple times and wears well. Tom Ford lasts on me for over 9 hours only having to blot my nose once. Black Radiance lasts on for about 6 - 8 hours before it starts to break down.
Without thinking, I reach for these a lot when i am going with stick foundations. The other are good as well but these are my go to.
If you want a more in-depth review of other other cream foundations, let me know and will post one up.
See you guys on the next post.
