The Sephora VIB sale is on..... Started on the 9th of April and ends of the 19th of April.
The Sephora sales occurs 3 times a year for Rouge and VIB members and twice for insiders.
The spring bonus takes place in April - now. The summer bonus is for Rouge and VIB members - takes place in August. Must not forget the Black Friday sales.
It is easy to participate in these sales, you only sign up to be an insider to be entitled. It is easy and no purchase is necessary to join and be an insider - Create an account on Sephora, scroll down on your account section and you can enroll for the insider program.
To progress onto the VIB level, you must spend a minimum of USD350 a year and Rouge requires an annual spend of USD1000.

The program also entitles you to points on purchases made, which can be converted to discounts on future purchases.
As part of the spring sale, as a rouge member, the sale starts on the 9th and ends on the 19th with a 20% discount on all purchases, VIB members - 13th to 19th receive a 15% discount on all purchases, insiders - 15th to 19th receive a 10% discount on purchases.
A few points to note for non-US and Canada residents, Sephora does not ship to UK, Europe nor Africa. For those within those countries, you may participate by signing up with logistics companies. Send your purchases to them and they will forward your products to you in exactly how these were packaged.

I may participate to stock up on holy grails. However, the discount offered is not sufficient inducement to purchase in my opinion. Can get better discounts from brand websites.
Most sites offer at least 20% discount for for 1st purchases which already matches Sephora Rouge level.
A brand example is Pat Mcgrath website which is currently running a 25% to 30% sale on purchases, shipping worldwide is free and they are also responsible for all associated custom fees.
Essentially, shop around. You can find better.
