Hello Everyone! How was your week? Mine was fine. Work per usual is hectic but we move and we groove.
Today's topic/post is about fragrances. I admit, I love my fragrances. My go to are perfumes from Maison Christian Dior (Santal Noir, Oud Isphan, Oud Rosewood, Leather Oud, Spice blend), Le Labo (Santal 33, Noir 29) and Maision Margiela replica (Jazz club, by the fireplace).
These perfumes are pricey and fall between £150 to £400 each which leads me into today's topic.
Lets' talk about Noted.Aromas! In my opinion, this is a duping company that dupes high end perfumes. This company operates sort of like beauty pie. They dont advertise and have basic bottles. They believe eradicating those costs enables them to sell their perfumes with low prices.
They also avoid being called a duping company by labelling their products as inspired by whatever perfume they are duping. Their selection/offering is very wide and varying.
Products comes with 5ml going for £4.99, 50ml going for £19.99 and 100ml going for £29.99. They are also labelled after World cities.
I decided to try New York inspired by Le Labo Santal 33 (50ml) and New Orleans (100ml) inspired by Maison Margiela Replica Jazz Club.
These scents are VERY similar to the originals which I have.
You can be mistaken for thinking you have the original on. The difference here is their lasting power.
New York lasts on me for about 4 hours while the original goes on all day. New Orleans lasts on me about 6 hours or whenever I take a shower, whichever is earlier. The original lasts all day.
Given the difference in cost, this makes the longevity acceptable. What I see as the major issue here is acceptance to buy from a duping company which is what they are.
I was conflicted but for me, as long as its legal, I am fine with it. Will you be trying Noted. Aromas?
