Omnia provides quality brushes which are both for makeup artists and makeup lovers. Their brushes are grouped into 3 sub brands:
Omnia professional - Vegan brushes, matte black handles and mostly reserved for professional artists.
Omnia Rosegold - Vegan brushes with rosewood handles
Omnia Gold - Natural hair brushes. This is a type of dyed goat hair.
What I like about these brushes is that, the brush handles are labeled for their use.
I have a selection from the Omnia Gold (natural hair) . Lets go through my brushes;
The brushes are quite substantial to hold. They have a good weight. The length of the brushes are an issue for me, they are just too long. That is my opinion, this may be formed from use of fude which has much shorter handles. These brushes have the longest handles of all brushes I have.
The bristles are very soft and they don't prickle the skin. On receipt, they smelt strongly of goat. Had to wash them twice for the scent to reduce in order for the brushes to be useable.
The brushes shed a ton. To an unreasonable degree. I dislike putting on makeup and having to pick stray hairs off my face which I actively had to do when testing these brushes out despite washing them multiple times, they still shed till date.

1) Highlight brush - This brush has no substance to it. Very flimsy. This cannot blend out a cream or liquid highlight. Can place a powder highlight but cannot blend it.
Do not waste your money, don't get this. Does not work.
2) Domed blush brush - This brush works with both powder and cream blush though I prefer it with powder blushes. It did not leave streaks when used with a cream brush however not the strongest brush to pick up cream blush. It will place and blend well though.
3) Complexion brush - This was an odd one, At first, had to idea what to do with this brush, I used this to place setting powder under eye and powder targeted areas of my face. Also served as a good highlight brush.
4) Angled Stippler - Personally I dislike stippling brushes. That is a known fact. However gave this brush a chance and this has got to be the worst brush I have ever used in my life. Yep! Worst! This brush sheds like crazy to the point that I am surprised there are any bristles left.
It works as a foundation brush but had a small head so you need an extra minute to complete your makeup which is no big deal but the shedding is crazy. Washed it numerous times and it shed every time I tried to use it for foundation or contour. Every single time, it shed all over my face. Applied a Fude brush comb hoping it would get rid of the loose hairs and shop shedding. The shedding reduced but still kept coming.
No one needs this much hassle for a brush. Decluttering.
5) Contour brush - Really like this brush. This also shed but stopped after a couple of washes. This is good for contour, blush and even targeted bronzer. Multiple uses, dense enough to pick up and place creams as well. This is a good one.
6) Powder brush - This is another good one. This did not shed excessively. A few loose hairs at first. Couple of washes and the brush was fine. Bloomed out well. Good with setting/finishing powders (loose and packed) as well as bronzers.

1) SM Shader - Like this brush, not love as it also sheds not as bad as the face brushes but you do have a few loose hairs but since its an eye brush, not so bad. Had a hair go into my eye while completing my eye makeup. Occurred only once, so not writing it off.
Besides that, this is an ok brush. Picks up pigments and deposits it easily. Used this with shimmer shadows and no issues at all. This also works on my hooded eyes, which is a heavy plus.
2) SM Crease brush - This is perfect. Used for my under eye, inner eye, deepen shadows on my crease and even to deposit pigment on the outer V. This picks up mattes, satin and shimmers easily. A good brush for hooded eyes.
3) Doomed shader - Sigh...This is a shader brush but just too big for the eyes even for all over shadows shades, this is just too big. tried it different ways, just did not work for me. Rather used this to blend out highlighter.
4) Smudger - This is another good under eye and inner corner brush. Does not prickle the eye at all. Soft, picks up pigments and deposits easily (both shimmers and mattes). Also capable of blending seamlessly.
5) Large crease - Like this crease brush and can place pigments all over the eye. Blend shadows top of crease into the crease of the eye easily. While this can pickup, place and blend mattes. This is absolutely terrible with shimmers. No surprises as it's a crease brush.
6) Blending brush - Like the blending brush. This blends out shadows easily and its also small enough to fit into the crease of a hooded eye. High plus in my book.
7) Shader brush - This is a little big for my type of brushes but I have put this through its paces with mattes, shimmers and satin shadows and it works great. Used it to blend shadows under eye, shimmers on the lid and on its side to blend mattes into the crease. It works.
8) Crease brush - This is the same as the Large crease. You do not need both. They do the exact same job. I will go as far as saying the large crease brush is slightly better with pickups.
Overall, I recommend a few brushes from this line not all. I would also not advise paying full price for these. Get them on a sale if you are going for these. I got them on a 60% off sale and an additional 20% off. Overall got a little over 70% off in total.
If you are just starting out in Fude, I recommend some of them like the eyeshadow brushes, the powder, blush and contour brushes. It will allow you to learn out to use them and understand how they bloom after 1st wash. You also do not have to be so careful with these. They are basic Fude workhorses.
well, hope I have been able to share some words on Omnia gold brushes....If you have any questions....See you in the comments...
