Sydney Grace - Christmas in July!

Writer's picture: OSOS

Hello!!!!! Been awol for a few weeks.

Things have been crazy for a while now but started settling down now. Just knew I could not let today pass without sharing something new.

For life update; Nothing major! My mum turned 70 and we had to turn up for her. Yippeeeeee! Then I got sick and been down. Actually lost my voice (sounded like a mouse for a few days. My nephew thought it was funny, go figure).

Feeling better, roaring to go. Lets' get into it.

A friend of mine wants to get into makeup, especially wearing eye shadows. She made it clear she was a newbie and wanted some recommendations.

I recommended Sydney grace eyeshadows as they have a great formula. Mostly singles, so you can build a palette that works for you and your wardrobe. The shadows are easily bendable and the shimmers are outstanding. Pat the shimmer in with a finger and you are good to go.

Given her a few lessons and she is great.

Annually, Sydney grace does their Christmas in July sale which occurs over the course of a week. This year, it commences 25th July and ends 1st of August. It is a great time to invest in Sydney grace if you are so inclined and I promise, you are getting one of the best eyeshadow formulas out there.

They also have highlighters, blushes which are also good. Lip creams which are good but they fade quickly if you eat or drink, so you definitely have to re-apply severally during the course of the day.

They also have makeup brushes which is a fairly new product I have been able to use a few of these. They are synthetic and work well even I reckon on sensitive skin as they are incredibly soft. I recommend them and if you can get them discounted during the sale, perfect.

I have not tried their setting powders (yet) and not a fan of the cream shadows. I have hooded eyes and the cream shadows do not dry down quickly enough, so they spread over my lids after application. Tried several times and this just does not work for me.

They also have eye shadows palettes. Mel Thompson's collaborated with Sydney grace for her Tiny Marvels eyeshadow palette amongst others which are also available during the sale.

Day by day details of the sale is shown below:
