Hello everyone! Compliments of the season! Hope everyone is staying safe and hope everyone is prepared for the holiday celebrations (if you are celebrating, that is)
2020 has been a strange one, certainly. It has also been a year, full of ups and downs.
I also stepped out of my comfort zone and got to try loads of new products. Both in skincare and make-up. Despite that, rarely came across products I would say, I literally hate.

However, yes! I did come across products I literally hate from brands I should love. So what happened?
Going through them all....Here goes.....
The Elemis superfood circa calm hydration juice: Boy! I really hate this product! I honestly could not stand using it. Was going to test it out for 4 weeks but 1 week was enough.
It is supposed to deliver hydration, moisturise, improve the look and texture of skin. It is also supposed to layer well under makeup.
Yeah! No. It is a gloopy, sticky mess. Does not moisturise my skin, does not wear well under anything including moisturisers and sunscreen. Piles. Assumed, I was using too much, so used, less. Same thing kept happening.
Explored different ways to use this. Did not work. 1 week was enough to write it off. Giving up is not me, but this is just not worth the time.
111 Skin NAC Y2 pollution defence booster: sigh.....this is just sad. Must mention the price for 20 ml product. Goes for USD135. This is supposed to “shield your skin against physical and blue light pollution. Protects against harsh urban environment and long periods in front of a digital screen” (what a load of crock!). What this does is not quantifiable or something you can see the effects, neither is this necessary for any reason.
I persisted and was supposed to use it for 4 weeks, forgot about it most days. Expensive pointless product. Save your money.
Le volume revolution de Chanel: Have loads of Chanel makeup that love. It’s one of my go to brands that I trust. Their products work for me. It’s simple as.
This did not work. When used, its a gloopy, congealed mess. When applied to the lashes, it clogged up everything including the wand it comes with. You have to brush your lashes out after application to remove the obstruction from your eyes. Tried to make this work but nope. Save your money. A £3 mascara is better this this.

The absolute winner of the worst products I tried is the Perricone MD foundation serum in shade rich which is the deepest shade they offer. For reference, Pat McGrath foundation, I wear a deep 32, beauty pie great skin foundation, I wear deep 900 cocoabean, NYX born to glow, I wear shade cocoa. The deepest shade in perricone has got to be at least 5 to 6 shades too light. I am deeply offended by their shade range. Discounting that, this is a patchy mess which goes on like a mask, no way natural looking. This product is God awful. Honestly making me question the brand as a whole. Cannot understand how anyone would assume this is ok by any means.
Those have been the products on my HATE list for 2020. What about yours?
